Today is the deadline that the parties have further granted this week to find a consensus. It is no secret that the parties are still far apart and very very difficult, At this point, there will be a solution. We turn to the words of Brees without comment. Speak for themselves.

" I am very sorry that you as fan have to bear all this . Football is more of a simple game for us all . We will continue to fight . . . always "

And again:

" To our fans - I'll give you my word that we as players we are doing everything we can to negotiate with 's NFL for fair agreement. L ' NFL has brought us to this battle - want an extra billion dollars- and we just want financial information to be sure you can support this request. They refuse to give us information. They believe that players should still trust them . you would you trust? We a responsibility to our players - for past, present and future , why the league continues and does not shrink " .
