We recently devoted several posts to siuazione Carolina and awaited the decision of the franchise that holds the first pick overall in the draft. Simple reason: Carolina last year chose as Clausen QB of the future but now, the new HC Rivera seems to have already decided to turn the page after her arrival, with his back to Clausen. Along these lines have increased in recent times, certain statements of accomplices Rivera certainly not in favor of Clausen. Yesterday yet another confirmation of the situation inside the team. It appears that the appraisers of Clausen in Carolina have been reduced in number, to be precise one. Don Banks of Sports Illustrated reports that:
"S the GM Marty Hurney said that remained the only one who still believe that Clausen might have the qualities to handle the role entrusted to it. Anyone in Carolina, many coaches and the league insiders believe that this year the Panthers have to opt for a QB in the draft .
For the record, Clausen was chosen by Hurney and, therefore, is understandably unwilling to renounce their own choice. Rivera, again for the record, attended the pro day at Auburn and has a long conversation with Newton.
